“Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you. Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you. All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance. “Look and see, for everyone is coming home! Your sons are coming from distant lands; your little daughters will be carried home.” – Isaiah 60:1-4 NLT
How long have you been preventing your light from shining? How long has God been trying to find expression through you but you keep expressing yourself and your thoughts? How long will God want to speak through you and you are yet to let him? How long will you keep hiding under the table? Who would light a candle and place it under the table?
There is gross darkness covering the earth, there is darkness hovering over your community, there are cries for help coming from all quarters, men and women are lost in confusion looking for answers, haven’t you realized that you are the answer that they seek? Haven’t you realised that you are a solution that they have been praying for?
How long will you prevent your neighbours from getting that answer they seek? How long will you keep waiting to liberate those whose destinies depend on your manifestation? How long will they keep groaning and waiting for your manifestation?
You were created for God’s glory, you are born of God’s word and this word of God is power and life! How long will you let dead things around you remain dead? Can’t you look these dry bones in face and command them to live again? Are you not tired of the normal? Are you not tired of letting chances control your experiences?
Let your light shine for all to see! Why are you scared of making your faith obvious? Why haven’t you opened up about the manifestations of God that you have experienced? Why haven’t spoken to that dying person the word of God? Why haven’t you told that man that Jesus is the answer?
It is okay to mind our business but not letting the light shine isn’t minding our business, it is our business to let the light shine, it is our business to liberate others from the shackles of ignorance. Of what use is this light when those around us still walk in darkness, in pain, in confusion, in lack and so on?
Do you know that God’s glory consistently rises to shine upon you and through you? Do you know that you are an embodiment of God’s glory? Many of us do not know what we have become in Christ and that is why we still live in fear, that is why we do not let this light shine because we do not even know what a great light of God shines through us.
Nations are crying waiting for the light, nations need you and are ready to come to your rising! Just the same way people are waiting for the day to brighten up before going about their normal businesses, there are destinies dependent on your light!
Sometimes we do not even know how much people’s lives are affected by our rising, we do not know how people are coming to the brightness of our light because we are not looking and we are not taking stocks. It is time to be intentional with shinning and manifesting God power.
If you can’t shine, you wouldn’t be asked to let it out in the first place. You have been saved and empowered for this purpose! The expression of God’s power through you is dependent on you, it is your choice and not God’s.
You have been anointed and called as a minister of reconciliation, how long will you keep hiding in the cave? How long will you keep covering that light? How long will you live this way when men are crying, looking for answers?
Where is your attention? Where are your eyes fixed upon? Where your attention is fixed will determine your priorities.
“Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honour at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.” – Colossians 3:1-4 NLT
