“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” – Hebrews 8:12

God doesn’t act like men and if He does, no one would be standing today. People relate to us based on how we are doing, this is because man looks at the appearance but God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). When you are working in a firm, your promotion is dependent on how well you’ve done so far and your promotion in school is dependent on what you qualify for academically. In this world, we always live according to what we qualify for. If you had a rich parent’s you might be living large but if you had poor parents, you may have had to struggle your way through. But this is not how God relates to man. Get this:

1. God has forgiven our shortcomings and wants us to embrace it.

2. God has forgotten our sins forever.

Okay, you’d be wondering if God literally forgot your sins. The good news is that He does! The problem so many people have today isn’t that their sins have not been forgiven and forgotten but that they have not come to the knowledge of this truth. There is no other way to get around this. God has forgiven your sins and He has forgotten them. In God’s agenda, you are righteous and perfect! We may not see it on our body because of the limitations of our flesh but that is how our spirit is. The Bible says in 1 Peter 2:3 “For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.”

“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin so that we could be made right with God through Christ.” – 2 Corinthians 5:21

God has settled the issue of sin but you can only key into this truth when you believe. There is no need trying to impress God with good deeds, we rather do good because God wants us to treat others with love and goodness. The Bible says “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

God has declared me forgiven and therefore I am in good terms with God. My sins are in the past and today  I live my entire life to God’s glory. Hallelujah!

Thank you, Father, for saving me and giving me your own life. Thank you for bringing me into union with you forever!
