“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love, he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
~ Zephaniah 3:17
What should be the first thing that comes to your mind when you are faced with rejection, persecution, loneliness and failure? For some, a question pops up and they ask God “what is wrong? Is it because of my wrongs? Why Lord?” Some would always think God is angry with them and that was why they failed! You shouldn’t think that way anymore because God isn’t angry with you. In your times of great need, the first thing that should come to your mind is “God is with me.” Get This:
1. God is with you always.
2. Making Him your Lord means letting Him lead the way.
3. God is mighty and you can trust Him to save you from all situations.
4. God takes delight in you!
5. Just like a loving parent, God sings you to rest and doesn’t rebuke you out of anger or hate.
Jesus is the fulfilment of prophecy! In Him, God is always in you as you are in Him. God has saved you from the power of darkness and He saves you further from earthly negativities. He is not angry with you but is rather in love with you.
POINT TO NOTE
You may not be able to live God’s best for you when He isn’t your Lord. A lot of people accept Him as saviour but not as Lord! God wants to be all to you and if you let Him, He guides you through the path of righteousness! When next you are faced with troubles, smile and say to yourself “I shall not fear. The Lord is with me.”
“Even though I walk through the valleys of shadows of death, I shall fear no evil for the Lord is with me.”
“Precious Lord, thank you for saving me and staying by. You didn’t leave me all to myself. May I always have this reminder at all occasions. Amen”
