“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”
– Jeremiah 32:17
Sometimes you need to pause and ponder at the wonders of creation. Have you ever looked around you from a positive perspective to see how everything responds to times and seasons, how the birds soar into the sky, enjoying their ride up there? Have you wondered how men became so advanced that they would build skyscrapers, build aeroplanes and do just so many amazing stuff? Have you ever wondered how the timings are so accurate and there has never been a time night or day missed its spot? Have you ever read about the galaxies, the sun and how the entire planets are accurately fixed and held together by gravity as they rotate around the sun? Have you wondered how the moon rotates around the earth and how the earth spins around its axis? Have you wondered how these things accurately determine the time, the day, the weeks, the months and the years? Well, they just so accurate because they never happened by accident. This alone is enough to convince you that nothing is too hard for God.
1. The heavens and the earth are expressions of God’s great power.
2. What God made inspired the men God made to make more.
3. If it took God nothing to make these things, it will take Him nothing to do anything else.
How many times have you been overwhelmed by your struggles and failures? How many times have you been overwhelmed by people’s rejections and maltreatment? Many times we think so much about things we couldn’t get that we forget about the greatness of God. Every time those challenges appear big, your response should be “my God is greater!” God is your father and you should be able to tell Him about anything. If the earth and heavens took Him nothing to make, your issues of life are just very minor cases. Just be attentive to know what God is making out of your struggles.
POINT TO NOTE
There is nothing too hard for God. In a world of doubt and questions, don’t let it influence you. Rather, walk in the big assurance you have that God is your father and He knows what you need and when you need it.
“My God is greater! He is my father and in Him, I shall never want because He has made provisions for me and I am constantly being supplied of answers, solutions, victories and all that pertains to life and Godliness. Hallelujah!”
My father and my God, the creations speak of your greatness, the whole earth is filled with the aura of your mighty power. Thank you, precious Lord, for making me a partaker of who you are.
