SUPER LOVED! | The Father’s Love

:
One of the biggest question that pops up especially in the midst of addictions, errors and challenges is “does God still love me?” Am I still loveable? It is okay to ask that about your earthly fathers, it is okay to ask that about your spouse, your boss or just any human close to you. Humans can say they love you today and tomorrow they don’t love you anymore! I understand all of that because the human-kind of love is flawed, usually based on conditions. So how about God? Is he still in love with you despite all of your mistakes or did he ever loved you at all? You see, some people have done just so much that they feel God has overbear their sins just enough, they usually try to judge the love of God based on how they love. Well, there is something different about God and He wants you to know it!
:
No matter the height and dept of your shortcomings God loves you, He doesn’t just love you, He loves you so much. One truth is, the devil doesn’t want you to know how much God loves you because that will be a liberating force! He wants you to keep wallowing in guilt and shame! He wants you to keep looking for cover once you feel God is reaching for you. The devil will always capitalize on those wrong things you did to make you question yourself about the love of God but listen to me, God loves you and desire that you know about it. Understanding God’s love for you makes you love Him back. God’s love for you isn’t based on your good deeds for the Bible says in Romans 5:8 (BSB) “But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
:
The way God proved His love for us was that He never waited for us to come out of sin, He rescued us from sin Himself! Now, that thing you are really so bothered about, that stuff that makes you think God hates you has already been settled by God in Christ Jesus! God already made provisions for your salvation and you only have to key into it and take advantage of it! This is what the knowledge of God’s love for you do, it transforms you from the inside out! At some point love means wanting the best for someone but then the Bible says God is love which means God wanted the best for us and the best He could give us is Himself! He gave us Himself in the person of Jesus! What a love!
:
There is something the love of God does in us! It is clearly written in 1 John 4:19 (MSG) “We, though, are going to love—love and be loved. First we were loved, now we love. He loved us first.” Look at that! I love the word of God! We are going to love and be loved! God has done His own part of the bargain! He loves us already and therefore we imitate Him and love like He has loved us! The love of God for you is unquestionable, you don’t need to doubt God’s love for you! Maybe what you should be looking at is your love for God but for His love for you? It is 100% and He isn’t loving you any less than He loves you now! God has given us all of His love but it becomes our present day experience when we believe and accept it!
:
In Psalm 136:23-26 (MSG), there is a resounding theme there which says “God’s love never quit!” This means God can start loving but He can’t stop loving! God can’t stop loving you, His love is that which endures forever! Can you see it isn’t like human love which fades with time and age? Human love can pick offence and decide to give up on you! Yea, we hear about breakups and all of that in human love but concerning God’s love for you He said “I hate divorce!” (Malachi 2:16). God isn’t like human couples who were all over each other and then suddenly wake up to say “I don’t feel it anymore! I want to quit!” or ” I am the one doing all the loving! I am done here!” He can’t get done in this love thing! He is love Himself!
:
Now, because of His love, you can live a victorious life! You can walk out of that addiction and you can live above guilt! It may not happen at the flick of the finger but be rest assured God is with you as you pull through. He already saved you from ever being condemned by those addictions! Yes, He desire that you live out that righteousness He already planted in you, He desire that you live just like Him! But as you learn to live like Him, He isn’t threatened by your stumbles! He picks you up like a loving father and tell you “keep walking!” He loves you in the midst of all the struggles and I tell you what? He doesn’t recognise those mistakes as much as you do! God already dealt with it from His own end and He wants you to deal with it from your end by living in His love. The Bible says in Romans 8:37-39 “None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.” Nothing can get between God’s love for you! There is no level of findings that can prove that anything will get between God’s love for you! God’s love is bigger than your mistakes and next time the devil wants to bring those mistakes and addictions to your face, shout it loud saying “God’s love is bigger than my mistakes!”
:
God, in Jesus loves you and want you to receive His love if you have not! If you have, He wants you to grow in the consciousness of that love! Now, you’d do yourself good by making it a daily recitation “I know God loves me, I know Jesus died because of His love for me and I walk daily in that love! I am super loved!”

Blessings.
