THE FAITH OF JESUS | Inherent in every believer!

:
Dear Believer,
You have the exact faith of Jesus! The day you got born again, Christ took residence within you and started living through you! In this regard, the faith of Christ became operational in you! You can have faith in Christ, in fact you needed to which made you become born again but then He sustains you by His own faith; that is the faith inherent in Him. Paul wrote in Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith OF the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” It is important to note that some translations translate this place as faith in the son of God but if we look closely at the context, we will understand that Paul was talking about being alive not in his own efforts but by the power of Christ who lives in Him! Everything on this regard is dependent on the efforts of Jesus and not in him! There is the faith of Christ which becomes available in us the moment we get born again! This is how God helps our unbelief and doubts at times.
:
The faith of the son of God is not your natural faith based on knowledge and circumstances but a SUPERNATURAL FAITH! You can do the same thing the Apostles did because you have increased from an inbuilt faith to Christ-built faith! Meditating on this awesome truth, my heart has been filled with joy and thanksgiving and those things that were issues for me are currently giving way because where my faith isn’t strong, the faith of Christ is stronger. People can have natural faith in the government based on the progress of the government and they can still loose that faith when things aren’t indicating progress! But our faith from the moment we received Christ isn’t dependent on how we feel, how things are going and how things happened in the past! In Christ, things may not look good from all indications but all things still work for good!
:
It is to the believer that the writer of Hebrew refers Jesus as the author and the finisher of our faith! (Hebrews 12:2) This means it is all on Jesus and all about Him! You cannot grow your faith, you cannot increase the faith you have! You can only grow in faith! You already have all of the faith inside of your Spirit and you grow in your ability to appropriate it when you hear, study and believe the word of God! The word of God becomes difficult to believe when we take it literally and want to decode its possibility with our senses! In the same way the Spirit of Christ lives in us making us God’s temple (1 Corinthians 3:16), we have the fullness of Christ including His faith! This means the more we are yielded to the truth about what we have become in the Spirit, we can start appropriating the same in the flesh to a very high degree!
:
Quit wanting and praying to get more faith and learn how to appropriate the SUPERNATURAL FAITH already available in your Spirit! Just like you must permit God before He can manifest in your life, your physical mind must agree with your spirit mind before you can produce supernatural results in the respect to the supernatural faith available in your Spirit! In Luke 17:5-6, a disciple requested for more faith from Jesus saying “give us more faith.” But Jesus responded saying “You don’t need more faith. There is no ‘more’ or ‘less’ in faith. If you have a bare kernel of faith, say the size of a poppy seed, you could say to this sycamore tree, ‘Go jump in the lake,’ and it would do it.” (MSG) What Jesus was saying here is that we can only realize the degree of faith we have been given when we start becoming conscious of it! You may have felt you have just a very little faith but when you go ahead to do big things with that faith you’ll realize you only grow in your understanding of faith, faith doesn’t grow because faith isn’t in sizes! For the believer in Christ, the Bible says in Galatians 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,” this means the Spirit of Jesus in us produces the character of love, joy, peace, long-suffering , gentleness, goodness and FAITH! We have all of these things in our Spirit but can only manifest it in the flesh.
:
For example, the bible says “we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16) and yet we find ourselves at times struggling to get our mind fixed. The bible was referring to our spirit mind, it is perfect and needs no renewal! It knows everything and is always in agreement with God (Romans 8:16)! When we renew our physical mind with God’s word, we are actually bringing into reflection what is already available in the Spirit. This is the same way the Bible says we are like Christ Jesus here on earth (1 John 4:17) but Paul still prayed that Christ be formed in believers (Galatians 4:19)! This simply means that in the Spirit, believers are exactly like Jesus here on earth but it requires the believer being conscious of this in his physical mind to actually operate in the supernatural realm! This consciousness comes from the study of the word and time well spent in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
:
But then, we must let our physical mind agree with the spirit! This is what Paul meant by asking that our minds be renewed (Romans 12:2)! He is talking about our physical mind now! When we renew our mind with God’s word, we are allowing the perfections of our spirit mind be seen in the physical because our Spirit is born of God’s word, born of incorruptible seed (1 Peter 1:23). In fact, this is how we GROW IN FAITH! Remember, it is the faith of Jesus and we are growing in it! The amazing life we have in Christ isn’t a paperwork, a documented fact or a mere constitutional right but limited to certain elites! That life is real and true, you received it in full measure and you are complete in Christ! The Bible says in Colossians 2:10 that your union with Christ has brought you to absolute completion!
:
However, we often get confused about this life because the circumstances around us seem to disagree with this truth. This is because many of us are still operating in the “soul” realm. I am not perfectly living out this life in full yet, no one is anyway! But until that day when we shall meet Jesus face to face and manifest the Spirit fully, we can grow in the knowledge of who we are and live the way God has designed us to live here on earth! The Bible says in 1 John 3:2 “Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.” While all these have taken place spiritually and we have been told that we are like Christ here on earth, it shall come into full manifestation on the day we shall see Him face to face because we will behold who we have become like and we shall know in all ramifications who we are! This is how that transformation will become complete even in our soul.
:
All you need has been given to you in your spirit! You discover them in the word! Go for the word! God’s word is an echo of the wisdom He already made available in you! Somewhere the Bible says “the Holy Spirit will teach you all things” (John 14:26) and another place the Bible says “we know all things” (1 John 2:20). This would seem confusing and contradictory when we don’t understand that the Bible spoke about the condition of our soul and our Spirit.
:
Our Spirit is perfect, it can’t get corrupted regardless of what we did or do wrong! Our spirit have the mind of Christ and therefore know all things! Because we can’t feel our spirit since its beyond the sense realm, we may not really know how much our spirit knows! However, our soul which contains our mind is battling with sense-feedbacks. The Holy Spirit helps to teach us all things, He brings to our mind the clarity of God’s word as we are yielded to Him!
:
When we study God’s word, we are learning from what God has richly made available in our spirit! God’s word is the revelation of who we have become! The Bible says when we keep beholding it, we are being transformed into the very image that the word represents which is God of course! This happens in our soul and not in the Spirit for the spirit is perfect! As long as we are on earth, we need to constantly get our physical minds renewed, to live in the fullness of what God has done.

Blessings.
