YOU ARE SO LOVED…

:
It is true we change, it is true we make terrible mistakes, mistakes that sounds so abominable and so bad to the ear, mistakes that gets us put palms over our ears, not wanting to hear them anymore. We make terrible mistakes that when we remember them we feel so bad. Many times these mistakes even starts speaking to us, telling us how bad God feels about us, how He doesn’t want to have anything to do with us at the moment and How He despises us. Guilt is so written all over our faces that even if it seem God is walking towards us we are on our heels just in a bid to escape His anger.
:
Well, we can change but God cannot change. It is not in God’s nature to change, it is not in His nature to go back on His word and it is not in His nature to act human. The truth is, no matter what we had done, God still loves us with an unending love, love that eyes cannot see it’s depth, love that mouth can explain! It is love that our physical sense cannot phantom phatom! Yes, we may not understand the depth and height of this love but we should just accept this and be conscious of it that His love doesn’t change.
:
It was this same love that made God come looking for Adam and Eve. God saw them eat of that tree, He was watching them! But it never changed His love for them. Imagine God realizing they had become exposed and He killed an animal and made cloth for them out of the animal’s skin. By this, God was expressing how important man is to him above every other thing He has made. Adam understood this about God after God had dealt on them with love and he said concerning his children “I have gotten a man from the Lord.” (Genesis 4:1). He knew the Lord has always been there regardless of what they had done wrong.
:
God’s love is not influenced by our mistakes or human errors. God loves us just anyhow and we may think He is angry because we did something terrible but the wrong things you do always affect you and not God, this is why God doesn’t want you to do them so you can stay free from yourself and the effect of those wrong doings. God’s love is steadfast and unchanging, it is comforting and it compels us to love others. This love is the exact love that has been poured out through Jesus Christ and poured into us by the Holy Spirit. This love surrounds us everyday and as each day passes by we keep realizing it to a greater dimension.
:
It is time we stop letting guilt make us question God’s love! If we make mistakes and start running from God, who else will be able to save us? God is happy with us running back to Him each time we walk astray like children who are still learning how to walk. This is what the Psalmist realized and wrote in 8:6 “how precious is your unfailing love, O God!” Man’s love may fail, man may love today and stop loving tomorrow but God’s love is without error and it doesn’t fail. God isn’t trying to love us, He just loves us and He is love. The Psalmist wrote in 86:5 that God’s love is abounding and He is faithful to that love.
:
This is a love that endures forever. What does it mean to endure forever? It means man is always with error, man makes constant mistakes and man sometimes put up things that are displeasing to God but God’s love for man isn’t just enduring these things, the Bible says God’s love is continuing in the midst of all these unpleasant things forever. It is one thing to endure, some of us can endure somethings for a while but we let go once it is too much but God’s love endures it all forever. The Bible says in Romans 5:8 “God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” and we can only abide in this love by keeping the commands of Jesus which is to believe and be yielded to Him (John 15:9-17). When we abide in the love of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, this same love is poured into our hearts (Romans 5:2-5).
:
We cannot exhaust talking about God’s love. This is just a reminder to you, to tell you how much you are loved by God. Are you scared because of something abominable that you have done? Are you struggling with guilt that you can’t even pray to God? Well, God wants to free you from that guilt, He wants you to know that He is still in love with you regardless. The Bible says in Romans 8:37-39 “for I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus or Lord.” The writer of the above verse is someone who in spiteinspite of all he did against Jesus and His Church, Jesus still came looking for Him.

You are loved so much by God.
Stay Blessed.
