EMOTION | YOUR HIDDEN STRENGTH

:
Someone asked me the most powerful thing on earth and I told her “the emotion is the most powerful thing on this planet earth.” David was able to conquer nations, David was able to defeat Goliath, a man who held the entire nation of Israel at ransom but David in spite of all his prowess in the use of strength was not able to conquer his own emotions, same emotion with which he raged against Goliath and struck his forehead in the name of God. Same is true for a lot of world leaders and influential people we have ever known. We can say for sure that nothing conquers emotions except us, God designed it that way and we can only take mastery of emotions and not let it take mastery of us.
:
Knowing how powerful this emotion is, we can decide to make use of its power. In emotion is housed the biggest persuasive power and there is nothing more compelling than that which is communicated in the power of emotions. We need to be sincere enough to tell when our emotions is playing out positively and when it’s peddling on a wicked journey. Emotions can destroy or build! Jesus had compassion on the sick and got them healed. Now, you see that Jesus was emotional about their condition, it had nothing to do with serving self for vain glory! Same emotions got Jesus into the Temple fiercely dealing with people who were messing up the place.
:
We know when it’s right by the motive of its movement. When it is about our ego, check it, it is likely to be a destructive project if we decide to let it have its way and sometimes it makes us embark on what we necessarily shouldn’t have paid attention to. What happens when you loose an argument and you just could not stand it? What happens when you loosed in a competition and people were making mockery of you? If it’s an outburst of anger, it’s because you feel your ego has been trampled upon, you feel you couldn’t prove a point you were supposed to prove. You’ll see yourself getting angry against the person who won! That’s a negative display of emotions. Emotions will always assume the character of the carrier and our display of emotion in the same circumstances will vary from individual to individual depending on how well we have been able to manage our emotions.
:
When knowledge meets emotion, the bearer becomes refined in the direction of that knowledge. When a man understands the importance of walking in love and is receptive to that knowledge, it has a way of making use all his emotions rightly.
:
When you care about someone so much you actually give so much! Why? It’s not because giving is your hobby, it’s because you’re compassionate about that person and your emotion can only be satisfied when you do it’s bidden. However, when you learn to control your emotions, you’d give when it’s right to give and do the right thing at it’s right time.
:
In communication, your emotion determines how well you’d be able to hit the soul of another. You need emotion to captivate someone. It could be fear and it could be hope! Ultimately, it could be love and passion. Anyone of them you creatively introduce into someone’s heart triggers them and captivate them momentarily. When you know how to use your emotions, you’d be able to make people feel just what you want them to feel. After then, you’d need to stay connected to their soul to keep having their attention.
:
I know one of the things lawyers study in school is how to put there emotions in their pockets when faced with cases because one would be distracted by emotions. Emotion is God’s natural gift to mankind. You need your emotions but you don’t need them to control you, you should be in control of it. The most powerful man on earth is that man who has taken mastery of his emotions and channel the power of that emotions into gainful things!
:
You will suddenly loose motivation for something your emotion is not in. You can consciously build your emotions around something and it’s easy but sometimes it’s hard to remove your emotions from something.
:
There is no persuasive power where emotion is strongly lacking. Only emotion can compel a soul! The Holy Spirit can also use out emotions for His own purpose. Being passionate for the gospel is also an emotional display because without the employment of that emotion, we’d still do less for the gospel.
